OVERVIEW
Integrity Communications Solutions, Inc. (ICS) is seeking a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role requires a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative lab environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded engineering, digital communications, and signal processing techniques, with a passion for developing innovative communication solutions.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Colorado Springs, CO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Signal Processing or Embedded Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming.
  • Strong experience in embedded software development and hardware interfacing.
  • Hands-on experience using MATLAB for algorithm development and simulation.
  • Solid understanding of signal processing concepts (Fourier analysis, filtering, modulation, etc.).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience working in a communications company or related technology field.
  • Familiarity with antenna systems, particularly patch antennas and RF design principles.
  • Experience with real-time DSP hardware or FPGA-based systems.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and waveform design.
  • Exposure to satellite or aerospace communication systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, develop, and implement DSP algorithms for communication and signal processing systems.
  • Work closely with embedded engineers to integrate DSP code into real-time systems.
  • Develop, test, and validate algorithms for modulation, demodulation, filtering, and signal detection.
  • Analyze system requirements, simulate designs using MATLAB, and implement in C/C++/Python.
  • Support antenna testing and characterization, including patch antenna performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of DSP and embedded software.
  • Collaborate with hardware and RF engineers to ensure signal integrity and performance.
  • Document development processes, test results, and technical reports.
