Agile Release Train Engineer - Looking for a servant leader responsible for facilitating and coordinating Agile processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing dependencies and risks, and driving continuous improvement across the ART. The RTE enables smooth collaboration and delivery across teams within the ART, helping to achieve high-performing, value-driven outcomes.
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Facilitate ART Events:
AEHF Capability Evolution Protected Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) satellites (Advanced EHF (AEHF)
Agile Certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe).
Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, business, computer science, engineering, or closely related field.

Salary Range: $110,000.00-$135,000.00
Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Facilitate ART Events:
- Program Increment (PI) Planning: The RTE is responsible for facilitating PI planning, which includes coordinating logistics, ensuring alignment between teams, and helping to drive the creation of PI objectives.
- ART Syncs and Scrum of Scrums: Facilitate ART sync meetings such as Scrum of Scrums, and other regular meetings that ensure all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
- System Demo: Help ensure that a comprehensive system demo is held at the end of each iteration, demonstrating the integrated work of the ART.
- Inspect and Adapt (I&A) Workshops: Facilitate regular I&A workshops to review the ART’s progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as the key coordinator across multiple Agile teams to ensure dependencies are managed, risks are addressed, and cross-team collaboration is strong.
- Act as the bridge between teams and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Identify and escalate obstacles or challenges that teams face in their ability to deliver value.
- Act as a problem solver, removing roadblocks and helping teams overcome challenges that prevent progress.
- Act as a servant leader for the ART, coaching teams, Scrum Masters, and other roles in Agile principles, practices, and SAFe methodologies.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and empowerment.
- Work with Product Management, Business Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the ART’s work is aligned with the broader business objectives and strategic goals.
- Help translate business needs into actionable and achievable deliverables for the ART.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the progress and effectiveness of the ART. This includes tracking the health of the ART, delivery predictability, and the progress towards PI objectives.
- Use metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Encourage and facilitate regular reflection and feedback cycles within the ART to drive process improvements.
- Ensure that retrospectives are conducted at appropriate intervals and that action items are followed through.
- Actively work with other RTE, Scrum Masters, and teams to identify, manage, and mitigate dependencies and risks across teams and ARTs.
- Help teams with risk mitigation strategies and ensure that risks are communicated effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership, stakeholders, and other teams on the progress, risks, and overall health of the ART.
- Ensure transparency into the ART’s work, including progress towards PI objectives, blockers, and potential risks.
- Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of features and capabilities, ensuring the ART delivers value in a predictable manner.
- Help teams manage integration and continuous delivery pipelines for efficient and reliable releases.
