OVERVIEW
Support a U.S. Space Force Satellite Consolidated SATCOM Systems Expert (C-SSE) communications operations team. Collaborate with mission partners in communications payload engineering, integrations, cryptographic, help desk, watch officer, ally support and other SATCOM COI members. Provide SATCOM expertise and support in operations, mission planning, crypto, testing, training, user troubleshooting, and system anomaly resolution. Perform monitoring, trend analysis and reporting on operational networks and payload performance. Conduct direct strategic and tactical network troubleshooting. Provide protected SATCOM COI technical assessments and recommendations on improved terminal, service, and system configurations and best practices. Support the development of advanced tactics from a communications perspective, as well as future Protected SATCOM systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in STEM field from an accredited college or university OR 5+ years prior experience as SATCOM planner, operator, and/or engineer
- Experience in SATCOM engineering, development, operations, testing, or training
- Limited domestic and international travel is required.
- Must be able to support rotating 24/7 on-call responsibilities and occasional on-site surge to support non-standard work schedules.
- Active US Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain SCI eligibility is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of EHF user community, mission planning, apportionment/allocation, resource monitoring, and terminal control desired
- Knowledge and application of Mission Planning Element/Subsystem (MPE/MPSS) desired
- Experience with EHF terminal operations desired (e.g., SMART-T, NMT, etc.) desired
- Experience in software analysis, modeling, and simulation a plus (e.g., SQL, MATLAB, STK, Scripting, etc.)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary Range: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
